Manchester is being transformed into a festive wonderland this Christmas as the award-winning markets return to the city centre once again.
As well as the Manchester Ice Rink at Spinningfields, the city is welcoming back it’s Christmas markets for more yuletide fun. Originally launching in 1999, the Manchester was the first UK city to bring continental-style markets across from Europe, whilst growing to become the biggest featuring more stalls than any other UK Christmas markets, picking up a multitude of awards along the way.
With over 300 stalls and chalets spread across the city centre selling everything from gifts, jewellery, clothes and toys, through to Belgian kitchenware, framed photos, French soaps and much more. Visitors can soak up the atmosphere and pick up some fantastic festive gifts for friends and loved ones.
The Manchester Christmas Markets are also packed full of incredible food and drink. Featuring traditional bratwurst, Hungarian goulash, Spanish paella, or even a hog roast. Don’t forget the bars serving a variety of festive drinks and the beer halls.
The Manchester Christmas Markets run until the 22nd of December and are open from 10am to 8pm daily.
